STEWARDSHIP COMMITTEE

Immanuel's Stewardship Committee is active and plans to have a year around stewardship education program which will include stewardship of ALL the gifts God has provided to us.

Our Vision statement states that we will be known for "extravagant generosity". Congregations that practice extravagant generosity:

• Explicitly talk about the place of money in the Christian's walk of faith.
• Focus on the Christian need to give rather than the church's need to receive.
• Emphasize mission, purpose, and life changing results rather than shortages, budgets, and institutional loyalty.
• Teach growing toward tithing. Tithing helps followers of Jesus understand that all things belong to God.
