The youth are preparing to go on a Mission Trip. We have 6 high school girls going to Brooklyn, New York this summer! Our mission will include: working in a senior center, a children’s program, community cookouts, sight seeing, homeless shelter soup kitchen and many other service activities. Over the next few months, our goal is to raise the money needed for this trip. The middle school youth have the opportunity to attend servant camp this summer and learn the skills needed for successful mission trips in the future. We will be raising money for their experience as well. Bob Lenz, a dynamic speaker, will present a community wide program
followed by a Christian rock concert on March 14. This event will
start at the Big Rapids Middle School at 7:00 On March 15, the youth will be The youth will be holding a Lock-In on March 24 from 7:00 pm Friday till 10:00 am Saturday. On March 25, is a ROCK-A-THON. The youth will be seeking pledges for a certain dollar amount per hour that they successfully keep their chair rocking! The Youth Group will meet after confirmation class on March 12 and 26 from 6-8pm. In the spirit of Lent and Easter seasons, there will be a Jelly Bean sale this month until Easter Sunday. All proceeds will benefit the mission trip. Painting the youth room will take place during spring break! Stay
